8 February 2008This post brought to you by FileBlog.
FilePlanet has selected its top 10 movies that will be gracing theaters in 2008…
#10: Rambo
20 years after the last released Rambo film Sylvester is back. Missionary aid workers in Myanmar disappear and Rambo leaves his job as a boatman to start kicking ass and taking names. Check out the HD trailer HERE!

#9: Resident Evil: Degeneration
The Resident Evil movies have created mixed camps in the office. Some of us enjoyed them for what they were while others could not stand them for what they did. But whatever the opinion of the previous films we are all interested in seeing what direction this new and very different computer animated feature film takes. The film takes place 7 years after the destruction of Raccoon City and this trailer raises more questions than answers. Check out the HD trailer HERE!

#8: Iron man
A figment of our childhood come to life, Marvel Comic character Iron Man is making his way to the
big screen. In route to introduce a new missile design to the Air Force, Tony Stark’s unit is
attacked then taken hostage. Check out the HD trailer HERE!

#7: Punisher: War Zone
A new franchise, don’t mistake this beast for a sequel to the Punisher released in 2004.
Waging his one-man war on evil, Frank Castle faces Jigsaw.

#6: Hellboy 2: The Golden Army
Hellboy fans can rejoice as their favorite red hero is back on the screen with his sequel Hellboy
II: The Golden Army. Specifics of the film at this time seem somewhat murky, but we’re sure it’s
going to be a crowd pleaser. Check out the HD trailer HERE!

#5: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Winner of the #5 spot and the “Longest Movie Title” is the next step in the Indiana Jones saga many
of us thought long dead and buried. Harrison Ford is staring once more as Indiana Jones whose quiet
teaching life is disturbed by the Soviet Union.

#4: Star Trek
The eleventh entry in the Star Trek films, this latest picture will be by Lost co-creators J. J.
Abrams and Damon Lindelof. The story will focus on the early adventures of Kirk and Spock, and will
feature appearances by the main characters from the original series.
#3: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Voldemort tightens his grip on the Muggle and wizarding worlds, and the beloved Hogwarts is not safe.
Together Dumbledore and Harry Potter work together to unlock the key to Voldemort’s defenses. If
you’ve read the series like us, you know the plot anyway - and we’re still excited!

#2: Cloverfield
Produced by J.J. Abrams and commonly depicted by the statue of liberty with her head literally clawed off (Note the marks down her back) Cloverfield has been a bit of a mystery. Early guesses involved Godizilla and Voltron, but recent footage has debunked those guesses and gives the movie a much darker and more sinister feel. It seems very mysterious indeed.

#1: The Dark Knight
Our #1 should be obvious; The Dark Knight has held our attention since we’ve glimpsed the first few
pieces of viral marketing. Batman meets the mysterious criminal mastermind known only as “Joker”
bringing a new wave of chaos and death to Gotham City. Why so serious? Check out the HD trailer HERE!
